Otherwise, this is really good, you know whats up. The last release with all the Triples is dark, harsh. Wheedly guitars, baroque keys. It's proto-crunk - if you're prizing head-bopping over any kind of lyricism, this is prime blunted ento. The real guest spots vary, of course. Big Gipp kills his spot. Amazingly, there's way more songs than skits here, considering it's a track release. Dumb like the Ramones, dumb like the Sonics, dumb like Lil Jon - that is to say, dumb in the cleverest ways.
Three 6 Mafia - Choices The Movie
It's way too much nihilism to absorb in one sitting, but Gangsta Boo helps add some vocal contrast as opposed to Koopsta Knicca; the best thing he does is cop some dancehall delivery and the tracks are intricately malicious. I need some aspirin.

I really have to be in the mood for this album, but when you are in the mood for it, it's dope as fuck. This album continues in the same vein as their last, with the hard ass crunk beats, click to see more the hardcore rapping.
It's just hard as fuck all around. The members of 3 6 Mafia have awesome deliveries, how they're all forced. If you get to know the group, you'll get to know the members differently, and you'll tell them apart. There are some awesome guest appearances from UGK, Mr.
The ICP appearance was un-needed, but that's only one track so I don't really care. The production, like I already said, is hard. Juicy J still makes the dope ass beats, and they're just as good as the last album.
The problem with this album is that there aren't as many standouts as on their last two albums, but it's still pretty consistent throughout, even with the length. It's constantly hard ass crunk gangsta shit. I just love this kind of hip-hop when I'm pissed off. I have yet to hear the next one, but I'm gonna give it a shot. Definitely recommended for gangsta fans, crunk fans, or just source hip-hop in general.

This really goes off the rails with the ICP track, but up to that point this is their absolute best album. The horrorcore is almost entirely gone, with crunk everywhere. What gets forgotten by the early-Three Six fanboys is that no one ever really did crunk productions better than DJ Paul and Juicy, and you can find evidence of that all over this album.
